BEi's concession stand at Chapman State Park opened Friday, May 28, for the 2010 Season. The Park Concession provides retail work experience and learning opportunities to employees of BEi that go beyond the workshop and promotes good public relations with the community. BEi employees rent boats to park visitors and sell firewood and snacks to the beachgoers and campers. Our concession stand is located in the beach area. It will be open until Labor Day Weekend the following hours:
Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday:
12 Noon – 7 pm;
Friday: 1 pm – 8 pm;
Saturday & Sunday: 11 am – 7 pm
CLOSED TUESDAYS.
Beverages, snacks, ice cream treats, firewood, ice, and an assortment of beach supplies can be purchased. Also canoes, kayaks and paddle boats can be rented. One must be 18 years of age to rent a watercraft/boat. To reserve a canoe, paddle boat or kayak, call 814-723-8431, Monday – Friday, 8 am – 4 pm.
