The Therapeutic Activities Program is in-home and community based. It is offered to individuals with disabilities (consumers) based on his/her needs. The Therapeutic Activities Aide (TAA), the consumer and his/her family work together on service goals. These goals are an important part of the consumer’s Individual Service Plan (ISP.)

BEi's consumers are offered the following opportunities:

• community outings to encourage socialization. 

• assistance with daily living skills to enable the consumer to live independently. 
• activities to maintain good health. 
• assistance accessing community resources.  

• opportunities to handle money.

The Therapeutic Activities Program strives to think of creative ways to help the consumers with their ISP goals. Making a difference in the consumers’ lives is what this program is all about!  If you would like more information, please contact Stephanie Maze at BEi, 814-723-8431, Ext. 10. If you are an individual with a disability, ask your Supports Coordinator if you are eligible to receive funding from the Forest-Warren Counties Department of Human Services for the BEi Therapeutic Activities Program.
