Concession Stand
The Park Concession provides retail work experience and learning opportunities to employees of BEi that go beyond the workshop and promotes good public relations with the community. BEi employees rent boats to park visitors and sell firewood and snacks to beach goers and campers.
Our concession stand is located in the beach area.

Memorial Day Weekend - Labor Day Weekend,
Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday:
12 Noon – 7 pm;
Friday: 1 pm – 8 pm;
Saturday & Sunday: 11 am – 7 pm
CLOSED TUESDAYS.
Beverages, snacks, ice cream treats, firewood, ice, and an assortment of beach supplies can be purchased. Also canoes, kayaks and paddle boats can be rented. One must be 18 years of age to rent a watercraft/boat. To reserve a canoe, paddle boat or kayak, call 814-723-8431, Monday – Friday, 8 am – 4 pm.
About Chapman State Park
This 805 acre state park is surrounded by Allegheny National Forest. It features a 68 acre lake stocked with trout, a sand beach, camping, forestry roads for biking and many scenic hiking trails.
Boating: non-motorized and electric motors only
The 68-acre Chapman Lake has a boat launch, 41 seasonal mooring spaces on the western side and mooring for registered campers on the eastern shoreline. BEi has a boat rental concession in the beach area which is open Memorial Weekend through Labor Day.
Camping: Chapman State Park has an 83 site campground (40 with hookups and several walk-in tenting sites). Also listed for rent are three camping cottages that sleep five people in single bunks and double/single bunks, and have wooden floors, windows, electric heat, porch, picnic table, fire ring, electric lights and outlets. An unusual camping rental available are the yurts. These Mongolian-style tents are round, on a wooden deck and sleep six people in single bunks and double/single bunks. Yurts have a cooking stove, refrigerator, countertop, table, chairs, electric lights, electric heat, outlets, fire ring, and picnic table. The park is located off of US 6, in Warren County, near the town of Clarendon, and is adjacent to the Allegheny National Forest and State Game Land 29.
