Supported Employment
1 - Working at Arbys through supported employment

Supported Employment is a program that works with individuals who want to work in the community, but need additional support in finding and keeping the right job. Supported Employment Service (SES) is a unique employment service that strives to place people with disabilities into suitable jobs in area businesses and industries. A Job Coach works with and trains the individual at the job site until he/she is able to do the job independently to the employer’s specifications. BEi’s SES provides ongoing monitoring to make sure that the individual’s work meets the performance standards of the employer and to assure also that the worker is happy with the employer and the work which he/she is expected to do. BEi continues to provide training and counseling support for as long as the worker remains employed.
